About WorkInSriLanka

WorkInSriLanka (WISL) is a volunteer-driven non-profit organization, founded in 2013, dedicated to supporting individuals considering a move to Sri Lanka. We are focused on providing networking, mentoring, and support to facilitate a smooth transition for returnees.

Continuing this mandate, WISL has successfully hosted three networking events this year, attracting over 150 recent and potential returnees. Based on the success of these events and community feedback, we recognize that now is the critical moment to accelerate efforts to attract global talent back to the country, thereby contributing directly to Sri Lanka's economic recovery and the government's ambitious growth targets.

To capitalize on this momentum, we are hosting a mini-conference on December 17th at Cinnamon Life. This timing is strategic, targeting diaspora and expatriates who will be visiting the country during the holiday season, with the goal of providing information on a potential return in the near future. The event will bring together potential and recent returnees, key industry leaders, and high-level government officials.
